Liquid injection technology

In the WITTERRA humus plant, the liquids are introduced directly in front of the mixing augers. The introduced liquid is worked into the material bed and aerated immediately in one work pass.

In older systems, the liquid was introduced in a separate work process via a wide distributor. The liquid is applied to the material bed in the first pass and only incorporated and aerated in the second pass. Depending on the size of the system, between the first and second round it takes 0.5 - 1.5 hours.
